少儿英语故事：猫和猪

Once upon a time, there were a cat and a pig who were the best of friends. One day, the cat accidentally fell into a deep hole. The pig quickly found a rope and tossed it down to the cat, calling out, "Here, catch!" Unfortunately, the pig threw the entire roll of rope down into the hole.

The cat, a bit frustrated, said, "Throwing the rope like this won't help me get out. How am I supposed to climb up?" The pig, confused, asked, "What else should I do?" The cat replied, "You should hold onto one end of the rope!"

The pig then jumped into the hole, grabbed the other end of the rope, and said, "Now, you can climb up!" The cat started to cry, and it was a happy cry...

Some people may not be very smart, but they are still worth having as friends for life.
