 Fears that the killer Ebola virus outbreak could spread to other continents are growing. The International Civil Aviation organization has met with global health officials on implementing measures to halt the spread of the disease.

The Secretary of Hong Kong’s Food and Health Bureau, Ko Wing-man, said that although Hong Kong has "no direct flights from West Africa, but it is possible for virus carriers to come to Hong Kong through transit flights. Suspected cases will be immediately taken to the isolation ward."

Meanwhile, according to TingVoa.com news agency, World Health Organization spokesperson Paul Garwood said the current Ebola outbreak has been "limited to the West African countries. There is no need for Ebola panic in China"

"We will have to act quickly. We will consult with the WHO to see what types of measures should be put in place." Said the spekesperson of International Civil Aviation Organization.

"There are no direct flights from West Africa, but it is possible for virus carriers to come to Hong Kong through transit flights. Suspected cases will be immediately taken to the isolation ward in Princess Margaret Hospital." Said the Secretary of HK Food and Health Bureau.

"The current Ebola outbreak has been limited to the West African countries. There is no need for Ebola panic in China." Said the spokesperson of WHO.
